Importance of dates among Iranian crops for marketing in Iran

Dates are one of the most important agricultural products in Iranian market and they are of great historical and cultural significance and are now linked to the lifestyle and income of millions of people living in different areas.

It should be noted that in the presence of modern day-old technology industries, the incentive for the presence of a large private sector with strong management has been to create hundreds of hectares of native palm trees focused on modern irrigation and reproduction systems and can greatly exceed the current production forecasts for marketing in Iran.
It is also noted that the historical status of all southern regions of Iranian market has been in the form of palm forests, which has disappeared over time. The works of these forests can be seen well by traveling in the southern regions of Iran.
Fruit dates are the most sugar, in most of its cultivars, it is fructose and glucose, and only a little bit of sucrose and other saccharides are found there. Therefore, it is a very good source of monosaccharaides extraction and the best natural source of the fog. As a result, it would be very interesting to look at dates as sources of sugar and industrial raw material extraction. This new industrial activity out of marketing in Iran will use varieties of dates that are not suitable for fresh consumption, and it will usually have very high sugar rate.
So far, this viewpoint has been absent from the Iranian and world's date industries. However, the production dates are not as good as those used by the food industry in Iranian market, and the existing production processes have not had that capability.
As a result we will continue our interview with Mr. Mousavi the expert in this field.
What is the date export rate from Iranian market?
Mousavi: Export of dates is done in a flask, and after being imported into other countries, they are offered at prices much higher than the export price.
Are there any speculators for marketing in Iran and global marketing?
Mousavi: Yes, the date market is in total monopoly of 100 large speculators, which, despite such a market, there are a lot of losses to 3,000 year-end holders each year.
At what price do the dates come from farmers?
Mousavi: Dates of Mazatifi from 1500 to 2500 kg and other dates under a kilo of 1,000 USD of farmers are purchased and after this process with depo in warehouses by dealers in the best time and with the highest prices.
Does regulatory oversight of the daylight market take place?
Mousavi: No, there is no control by the devices on the market of dates, and it is responsible for overseeing the Ministry of Agriculture databank market, which unfortunately leaves Iranian date market and does not have any thoughts on farmers and producers.
Which cities do most dates produce?
Mousavi: We have documented date production in six provinces of the country, and in the last 25 years there has been no increase in the production of this product, while our production capacity is more than 70 tons, which is produced in the current situation for marketing in Iran.
What is the cause of no increase in date production for marketing in Iran?
Mousavi: The reason for this matter is that a 400 thousand ton production of dates in the country is available for marketing in Iran. Because this product is not a marketable customer and farmers are forced to throw away their products after production because of lack of customers.
Is there a palatial in the country?
Mousavi: There are about 3 million palm trees in the country, which are sown in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman, Bushehr, Fars, Khuzestan, Ilam and Vakhehis from Kermanshah. The largest production is in the cities of Khuzestan and Kerman.
What is your solution to prevent the high volume of dates in the country after production?
Mousavi: In the years of the fall, there was a staff headquarters in the country, in which there were six governorates of the palaces, three ministers, the head of the central bank, representatives of the private sector and the parliamentary representative, and the date policy was planned in this complex. It has been 10 years since the headquarters have been closed down and no monitoring has been carried out by the Ministry of agriculture.
How is the date production condition?
Mousavi: Dates in areas with a latitude of 30 to 32 degrees, no wintering below zero, no rainfall, are produced and dates are specific to Islamic countries, and only in limited areas of California, a small date is produced, and it does not have Iranian dates quality.
Is there destruction of palm trees?
Mousavi: Yes, given the fact that a great deal of farmers' production is shrinking every year, we are seeing a number of natives also being destroyed because of the dissatisfaction of the villagers. These people do not even get their production costs from the sale of dates, if they want to profit. That is why we see the destruction of the date industry over marketing in Iran. It takes 7-10 years to adjust a palm tree.
What is your solution for Iranian date market problems?
Mousavi: For the boom of this market, the establishment of the country's date chapters is necessary to organize the conditions of palm trees and date production in the country.
What is the fair price for buying dates from farmers?
Mousavi: The fair price of date purchase is due to the high cost of palm trees between 10 and 15 thousand Tomans and sales of 20 to 25 thousand, while sales prices are driven in the same range, but the purchase of dates from farmers with the minimum price of the face goes upper than this first price.
Are multi-modal dates produced in Iranian market?
Mousavi: 480 kinds of dates are produced in the world, of which 400 are exclusively related to Iranian palm trees, and the most used date in the country is the Mazafati type.
How much did Iranian market export date past year?
Mousavi: Last year, 90 thousand tons were issued, and this represents only 10% of the total production of this product for global marketing and marketing in Iran, of which 55% is consumed in the country, and the rest is extinguished.
