Social media marketing in Iran (Part 2)

As it was mentioned before; one of the main roads in business is using social media. We discussed the first five significant in this matter but what about other rules in online marketing especially in Iran such as influence, value, acknowledgment, accessibility and Reciprocity?

    Sixth; Influence. Consider some time to add online influencers in Iran market who have quality audiences and are interested in your products, business and services. Not only you should have a connection with them but also you need to work in order to build relationships with them. If you get on their radar as an authoritative, interesting source of useful data, they probably would share the content with their own followers, which could put you and your business in front of a huge number of new audiences.

     Seventh; value. By spending all your time on social media directly promoting your products and services, people stop following you. Marketer must add value to the conversation. Focus less on conversions and more on creating attractive content and developing relationships with online influencers. During some time, those people will become a powerful catalyst for real marketing rely on your business.

      Eighth; Acknowledgment. Please don’t ignore someone who reaches out to you especially in person also don’t ignore them online either. Building relationships is one of the most important parts of social media marketing success, so always acknowledge every person who reaches out to you, ask questions or need some more information.

     Ninth is Accessibility. Don’t be the content publisher then become a disappeared. Be available to your audience. It means that you have got to consistently publish content and participate in conversations. Also be aware of time difference in Iran. Followers online can be fickle and they won’t hesitate to replace you if you disappear for weeks or months.

     The last but not least is Reciprocity. You can’t expect others to share your content and talk about you if you don’t do the same for them especially in Persian context. So, an arranged diplomacy in your time needs to be spent on social media and it should be focused on sharing and talking about content published by others.
