The Economic Cycle of the Music Industry in Iran

Iman Hojjat, director of the Raga Studio, which many musicians and music bands collaborate with. He is also one of the pioneers of the guitar and his own album is coming to the Iranian music market, but Hojjat, due to his many years of music production and concerts,

has a thorough analysis and expert look at the relationship between production and the economic cycle, and the issues that activists The music is economically met with them closely out of Iranian market and global market. This activist tells the music industry about the turbulence in the distribution of albums and musical works for marketing in Iran and other issues of the multinationals producing and distributing albums.
Mr. Hojjat, a topic that we have been discussing for some time, is the issue of music economics and the volume of turnover of producing and concert companies in the music sector. What is your analysis of the production cycle of the album and the concert?
If we want to talk about the economic situation of music, we should go out of the circle of companies from Iranian market because now music producers are the same readers and our music cycle is a defective cycle in the global level. We also explain this to all the readers who come to Raga Studio to do their work, and they do not have to stop. As long as the artists are working together, there is no problem; the songwriter, composer, regulator and musician do their job properly and have the best cooperation, but as soon as the production is finished, and we deal with the broadcasts we find, we're having trouble. Unskilled people who do not care about music and just aim to make money out of marketing in Iran, get a lot of money from suppliers, and with a few carriers in a few low class ways, they distribute a handful of albums and put the rest of the albums in their corners and then announce to the producer. Which albums did not sell and your reader does not have any support.
In your opinion, the problem is supermarket broadcasting for marketing in Iran?
You see, the breath of supermarket distribution is unbelievable, and finally, people go to supermarkets more than bookstores, but they do not play properly in the same supermarket. It is officially fraudulent in the field of broadcasting from producers, and artists or investors are faced with a huge loss and the costs that they have made are lost out of Iranian market. That's how many readers who have good talents are disappointed. On the other hand, there are sites of unauthorized copying and downloading, which is a huge loss to the producer of the albums. You've noticed that the album is not yet on the Iranian market, the Internet is full of songs that have been downloaded for free. Therefore, these days, the best way to hear the voice of the readers is the same release of the single and the clip. We are seeing a slow slowdown in the publication of the album, which is becoming obsolete. I feel I do not need to produce an album at all, and I do not allow anyone to commit fraud and abuse.
How about Concerts?
Out of Iranian market due to concerts, there is a more healthy workflow and economic cycle, and the situation is better, but the problem that the organizers of the concerts take is the cost of the salon they receive. Before the concert and in cash, it means you have to settle all expenses of the salon before the concert. I wish that the Guidance would provide venues for musicians and groups that are not pop, such as traditional music, rock, jazz or compilation that produces endless music, and in many ways they can have a cure for the community and bring people to peace. If there is a purposeful activity in this field and is provided for the youth and the youth, then there will be other music other than pop style pop. The government and institutions such as the municipalities, which do not give the salon to the artists, results in the fact that the halls are very expensive and the artists are not enthusiastic to make goods from marketing in Iran.
You can accurately point out how large venues for a concert date are going to be from an artist or a concert?
Yes, there are halls for 10 million Tomans. Of course, this is the cheapest salon, for example, the price last year of the Milad Sansi Hall was 17 million Tomans. This amount is very high and this money will not be returned to the producer. It is a big risk for a reader in Iranian market who may not be able to fill the hall. On the other hand, it's the right of all people to have this fun in their live schedule to go to the concert. Few families can buy tickets for all of them and go to concerts. The cheapest low-cost seat in large halls for a concert is fifty thousand Tomans, and a low-income family of four must pay $ 200 for a concert. These prices are very strange for the people of Iran, and they do not pay back these costs even once a year. You will see a prosperous community if you do not count and those who really need good quality music will not be able to spend the concert once a year. This is a huge issue which can be fixed by getting help from Iranian and foreign experts.
