Notes.

1. This Chapter does not cover separate chemically defined compounds other than those described in Note 2 (a) or (b) below.
2. The expression “articles of combustible materials” in heading 3606 applies only to:
(a) Metaldehyde, hexamethylenetetramine, and similar substances put up in forms (for example, tablets, sticks, or similar forms) for use as fuels; fuels with a basis of alcohol, and similarly prepared fuels, in solid or semisolid form;
(b) Liquid or liquefied-gas fuels in containers of a kind used for filling or refilling cigarette or similar lighters and of a capacity not exceeding 300 cm3; and
(c) Resin torches, firefighters, and the like.

Explanatory remarks to Chapter 36

1. The importation and exportation of dynamite and other explosives such as percussion caps and explosive cylinders are subject to the approval of the Ministry of Defence.
2. The importation of fuses used by miners is subject to the approval of the Ministry of Defence.
3. The importation of tariff rows 3601,3602,3603,3604 is subject to the approval of the government, but tariff row 36049010 is subject to the approval of the ministry of power.
4. The importation of products indicated in this chapter by the symbol (■) in the considerations column, is limited to take the license of article 122, clause (چ) customs affairs rules.
