Vehicle Import Bylaw Under 1404 Budget Law Communicated

Iran's Trade Promotion Organization has communicated to Iran Customs the Cabinet's executive bylaw implementing clause (r) of Note 1 of the single article of the 1404 national budget law, covering the import of various categories of vehicles.

Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization has forwarded to Iran Customs the Cabinet’s approval, resolution No. 50703/T63881H dated June 2, 2025, communicating the executive bylaw for clause (r) of Note 1 of the single article of the national budget law for 1404, concerning the import of various categories of vehicles.

The notice, issued by the Export and Import Regulations Office, transmits a copy of the Cabinet resolution for information and for communication to executive customs offices, so that any necessary action can be taken. Copies were distributed to the Trade Promotion Organization’s leadership, the Ministry’s Machinery and Equipment Industries Deputy, the Automotive, Motive Power and Transportation Industries Office, the National Standards Organization, the Department of Environment, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, the Central Headquarters for Combating Smuggling of Goods and Currency, and provincial industry, mine and trade departments across the country, for awareness and appropriate action regarding vehicle imports in 1404.

Importers and customs brokers involved in vehicle import operations for 1404 should consult the underlying Cabinet resolution for the specific vehicle categories, quotas, and conditions covered by clause (r) of Note 1 of the budget law, and should coordinate with Iran Customs on implementation of the associated order-registration procedures.
