Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has issued an amendment correcting the terms of an earlier notice, letter No. 51630 dated May 23, 2025, concerning the export of livestock feed derived from sugarcane industry byproducts, specifically pit and bagasse. The amendment confirms that export of sugarcane pit and bagasse under tariff code 23032000, described as “beet pulp, sugarcane bagasse, and other sugar-manufacturing residues,” is correct and unrestricted.

Exporters of sugarcane-derived livestock feed byproducts should rely on the corrected tariff code description in this amendment rather than the earlier, superseded notice.
