Azin Forge Machinery Tariff Codes Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added eight tariff codes covering pipe and flange production line equipment requested by Azin Forge Company to the percentage clearance list until the end of Aban 1404.

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added a set of machinery tariff codes to the percentage clearance list at the request of Azin Forge Company, allowing goods under these classifications to be released from customs ahead of full currency allocation.

The request originated with Khorasan Shomali province’s Industry, Mine and Trade Department, which forwarded Azin Forge Company’s request regarding the placement of its manufacturing machinery tariff codes on the percentage clearance list. The Ministry’s Machinery and Equipment Industries Deputy confirmed the items and forwarded them to the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office, which notified Iran Customs for implementation. The eight tariff codes added, with their equipment descriptions, are: 84855090, a pipe and flange production line; 84855920, a gate drilling machine; 84581190, a lathe machine; 84620000, a press machine; 85144000, an induction preheating machine; 84855090, a hot wire rod rolling machine; 84855990, a carousel machine; and 84552200, a cold sheet rolling machine.

Under the decision, the listed tariff codes will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of Aban month 1404 (corresponding to late November 2025).

Importers of the listed pipe, flange, and metalworking machinery should note that shipments under these tariff codes may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and validity period.
