Cement and Clinker Export Ring Approval Deadline Extended

The Export and Import Regulations Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran has notified Iran Customs of a further extension to the deadline for submitting purchase approval certificates for cement and gray clinker exported through the export ring of the Iran Mercantile Exchange. The requirement to obtain this purchase certificate before exporting cement and clinker via the export ring had previously been communicated to customs.

The extension follows correspondence from the Cement Industry Employers’ Association, which reported to the Deputy for Mining Affairs and Mining Industries that the Iran Mercantile Exchange was not yet ready to support supply of cement and gray clinker on the export ring. Based on this feedback and related follow-up correspondence, the previously announced deadline of Shahrivar 10, 1404 (September 1, 2025) for submitting the purchase approval to complete customs clearance formalities has been extended, for the final time, to Shahrivar 22, 1404 (September 13, 2025).

Customs offices and exporters of cement and gray clinker via the export ring of the Iran Mercantile Exchange should ensure the required purchase approval is obtained and presented within the extended deadline to complete clearance formalities.
