Livestock Inputs, Basic Goods Moved to Priority Group 22

Following Cabinet Resolution No. 172076/T65236H dated 1404/10/10 on the Food Security Guarantee and Livelihood Improvement Bylaw, Iran's Trade Development Organization has instructed the Comprehensive Trade System to reclassify all livestock feed inputs and basic goods (except wheat) from commodity priority group 21 to group 22, effective 1404/10/10.

Iran’s Trade Development Organization, through its Office of Export and Import Regulations, has instructed the Center for Innovation and Smart-Enablement and Security to implement a commodity group reclassification for livestock feed inputs and basic goods. The instruction follows Cabinet Resolution No. 172076/T65236H dated 1404/10/10, concerning the Food Security Guarantee and Livelihood Improvement Bylaw, and cites Article 4 of that resolution as its basis.

Effective 1404/10/10, the commodity priority group for all livestock feed inputs and basic goods (except wheat) is changed from priority group 21 to priority group 22. The Trade Development Organization requested that this change be implemented and finalized in the Comprehensive Trade System for awareness and processing purposes.

The notice was copied to the Deputy Minister and Head of the Trade Development Organization, the acting head of the Deputy for Trade Development at the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, the Deputy for Legal Affairs and Codification, Revision and Publication of Laws and Regulations of the Presidential Legal Deputy (for publication in the business-environment laws and regulations database per Article 30 of the Law on the Continuous Improvement of the Business Environment), the Deputy for Planning and Regulations, the Central Bank of Iran’s Foreign Exchange Allocation Department, and the Director General of Iran Customs’s Import Office, for awareness and necessary action.
