Conditional Export Approved for Uncut Chicken Meat
Iran's Trade Promotion Organization has approved the conditional export of uncut chicken meat from spent laying hens under tariff codes 02071100 (fresh or chilled) and 02071200 (frozen), following a request from the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad.

Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization has announced approval for the conditional export of uncut chicken meat, expanding the list of poultry products permitted for export under specific conditions.
The approval follows a request from the Deputy for Commercial Development of the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad, which was forwarded to Iran’s Customs Administration for implementation. In addition to previously announced permitted export items, uncut chicken meat in the form of parts is now conditionally authorized for export, covering fresh or chilled uncut chicken meat under tariff code 02071100 and frozen uncut chicken meat under tariff code 02071200.
The conditional approval applies specifically to culled laying hens, meaning birds from egg-laying poultry operations that have reached the end of their production cycle. The measure is intended to help manage the domestic market and address surplus production of spent laying hens by allowing their export as uncut chicken meat once the applicable approvals and system registration requirements are completed.
The notice clarifies that the export of uncut chicken meat is subject to the terms of the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad’s related communication and remains within the scope of the general export restrictions announced on April 2, 2026 (13 Dey 1404), except where specifically exempted. Iran’s Customs Administration has been asked to communicate the change to executing customs offices.
