Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has approved the export of poultry meat on a conditional, permitted basis, covering specific cuts of chicken as well as whole cut-up chicken meat.
The approval, communicated through the Ministry’s Export and Import Regulations Office, authorizes the export of poultry pieces described as thigh, breast, and wing and shoulder cuts, classified under tariff code 02071310, together with whole, uncut chicken meat in fresh or chilled form, classified under tariff code 02071100. Both categories are approved for export on a conditional, permitted basis rather than as an unrestricted export item.
The approval follows correspondence from the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, whose Deputy for Trade Development had requested that the export of these poultry items be permitted subject to conditions.
