The Deputy for Trade Development at Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture Jihad has issued an eighth supplementary list of tariff codes exempted from the country’s agricultural export ban, and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has forwarded the list to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration for implementation.
The exemptions follow earlier correspondence on tariff codes excluded from the agricultural export prohibition imposed under Cabinet Resolution No. 831408/T65650H, dated November 21, 2025 (Aban 30, 1404). Based on an assessment of domestic market conditions, the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad determined that the products on the eighth list no longer require protection from the export ban and forwarded the list to the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, which in turn instructed Customs to give effect to the exemption.
The eighth list, dated as of the first of Ordibehesht (late April 2026), covers 21 tariff codes: bee colonies; carp fry and larvae; catfish; other fish; live, fresh, or chilled catfish and cuttlefish; frozen catfish and cuttlefish; feathers; olives; olives in barrels; six varieties of dates (Kabkab, Rabbi, Piarom, Kalouteh, Mazafati, Shahani, and Zahedi); dried figs; fresh figs; other figs; oranges; and potato starch. Exporters of these goods may now proceed under standard export procedures rather than the restrictions that otherwise apply to agricultural exports.
Chapters One through 24 of the export regulations book that are not otherwise subject to the agricultural export prohibition remain unaffected by this notice, which applies specifically to the tariff codes named on the attached eighth list. Exporters should confirm the exact tariff code coverage with their customs broker before shipment.
