Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, through the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office, has notified Iran Customs that the suspension of the requirement for the order registration or statistical registration date to precede the warehouse receipt issuance date has been extended until the end of the month of Shahrivar in the Iranian year 1405.
The extension is based on a Cabinet communication dated August 5, 2026, from the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, which in turn referenced a directive from the First Vice President dated August 5, 2026. That directive extended, until the end of Shahrivar 1405, all licenses and deadlines that had been established to manage matters arising from the Zionist-American enemy’s aggression against the country. The underlying Cabinet decision, communicated on August 8, 2026, stated that all such licenses and deadlines provided for in connection with the emergency conditions and the aggression against the country are extended to the end of Shahrivar 1405.
Accordingly, the suspension of “the priority of the order registration or statistical registration issuance date over the warehouse receipt issuance date,” which is addressed under Article 5 of the executive regulations of the Export and Import Regulations Law, is extended until the end of Shahrivar 1405.
Businesses handling import and export procedures where warehouse receipts and order or statistical registrations are involved should note that, for the duration of the extension, the normal requirement for the registration date to precede the warehouse receipt date does not apply. Importers, exporters, and customs brokers should watch for further notices around the end of Shahrivar 1405, since the current extension is tied to that date and any subsequent change in the underlying emergency measures could affect it.
