Feed Wheat Moved from Currency Group 4 to Priority 21

A Cabinet resolution has removed feed wheat, tariff code 10019910, from currency priority Goods Group 4 and placed it in Priority 21, allowing up to 500,000 tons to be imported as groats by the Government Trading Corporation of Iran within the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad's currency ceiling through the end of 1404.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a resolution removing feed wheat, classified under tariff code 10019910, from currency priority Goods Group 4 and placing it in Priority 21, with the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade subsequently notifying Iran Customs of the change for implementation.

The resolution, issued on a proposal from the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, states that feed wheat under tariff code 10019910 is removed from Goods Group (4) and placed in Priority (21). Under the resolution, up to 500,000 tons of the product may be imported in groat form through entry points, within the foreign currency ceiling allocated to the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, to be carried out by the Government Trading Corporation of Iran (GTC) through the end of 1404 (approximately March 2026).

The Export and Import Regulations Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran forwarded the Cabinet resolution to Iran Customs for information and implementation, instructing that the applicable rules in the Comprehensive Trade System be updated accordingly. Copies were also sent to the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance for information and action.
