Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has agreed to conditionally authorize exports of layer pullets, classified under tariff code 01059420.

The decision follows a report from the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad’s Deputy for Trade Development, which noted a decline in pullet placement at commercial egg-laying poultry units. Based on this assessment, the Ministry agreed to permit exports of the item described as “layer pullet” under tariff code 01059420 on a conditional basis, updating the previously announced export lists that had covered goods under the same heading.

Under the decision, exports of items classified under tariff code 01059420 remain subject to the general export limitations set by the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad and are not covered by the export ban referenced in an earlier notice dated March 3, 2026 (No. 7365591), so long as they conform to the conditions specified.

Customs authorities have been instructed to process exports under this tariff code only upon system-based confirmation from the designated representative of the Deputy for Trade Development at the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad. Poultry exporters and logistics operators should coordinate with the relevant provincial authorities and ensure the required confirmation is obtained before goods are declared to customs.
