The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, through the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office, has forwarded to Iran Customs the updated list, prepared by the National Standards Organization of Iran (INSO), of imported goods subject to mandatory standard compliance requirements for Azar 1404 (the Iranian month spanning late November to late December 2025).

The updated list reflects the National Standards Organization’s Quality Assessment Deputy’s latest edition of goods requiring mandatory standard compliance for import, and is intended for implementation by Iran Customs. The notice reminds relevant parties that the latest edition of the updated list of imported goods subject to mandatory standards for 1404 is available for viewing and use on the National Standards Organization’s portal at www.inso.gov.ir, where the list of goods subject to National Standards Organization oversight for both export and import is maintained on that site’s banking information headers.

Importers should consult the National Standards Organization’s online portal to confirm whether their goods fall under the updated mandatory standard list before proceeding with customs clearance, since the list is subject to periodic revision.
