Order Registration Validity with Bank Tracking Code Extended

The Trade Promotion Organization of Iran’s Office of Export and Import Regulations has extended the validity of order registrations that carry a bank tracking code (SATA code) and a bank-confirmed currency source through May 30, 2026, without requiring importers to re-register their orders.

The extension continues a measure first introduced to address emergency conditions affecting the pace of the declaration and customs clearance process for goods. Under the circular, order registrations recorded with a valid currency source confirmed by a bank and bearing a tracking code remain valid for the purposes of declaration and clearance, even if their original registration validity period has lapsed, without the need for renewal through re-registration.

The measure is issued in line with Clause 51 of the Third Supplementary Package for Strengthening National Economic Resilience and Non-Military Defense under Emergency Conditions. It is intended to prevent disruption in the clearance of goods for importers whose order registrations would otherwise require renewal during this period.

Importers and customs brokers relying on order registrations with a bank tracking code and confirmed currency source should note that these registrations remain valid through the stated date without additional action, and should monitor for any further notices regarding subsequent extensions or changes to this arrangement.
