Order Registration Fix for Shahid Rajaee Port Incident Goods

Iran's Trade Development Organization has instructed the Comprehensive Trade System's rules engine to edit annual foreign-exchange quota ceilings and enable new or revised order registrations for a listed group of importers whose goods were damaged in the Shahid Rajaee Port incident, whose foreign exchange was already supplied by the Central Bank of Iran but whose goods have not been cleared.

Iran’s Trade Development Organization, through its Deputy for Commercial Services, has followed up on prior correspondence and a meeting held 1404/09/19 regarding a list of importers whose goods were damaged in the Shahid Rajaee Port incident. The list, compiled from information received from the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iran Customs, covers individuals whose foreign exchange was supplied by the Central Bank but whose related goods, held by Iran Customs, have not been cleared.

The Trade Development Organization’s Office of Export and Import Regulations has instructed the Center for Innovation and Smart-Enablement and Security to apply, according to the attached list, edits to the annual foreign-exchange quota ceiling and allocation, and to enable the creation of new order registrations or continuation of the editing process for prior order registrations in the Comprehensive Trade System for this group of importers. Following completion of the necessary system work, the organization requested that affected parties be informed accordingly.

The correspondence was copied to the Deputy Minister for Commercial Affairs, the Deputy Minister and Head of the Trade Development Organization, the ministerial advisor and head of the ministerial office, the Deputy for Commercial Services, and the Deputy for Planning and Regulations for awareness.
