The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added a set of tariff codes requested by Parto Khazen Company to the percentage clearance list, following a request forwarded by the Ministry’s Deputy for Machinery and Equipment Industries.

The Export and Import Regulations Office notified the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration that the tariff codes listed in the accompanying table are eligible for percentage clearance, subject to compliance with applicable rules and regulations, for the duration of the underlying approval by the competent authority. The listed items include the tariff code for “automatic power-factor controller (other),” newly added under this notice, together with tariff codes covering current transformers, capacitor contactors, and bushings. The notice also states that the “Immobilizer Unit” item under the power-factor controller tariff code was already communicated to customs under an earlier notice, and that the capacitor contactor and bushing tariff codes had previously been announced to customs generally as eligible for percentage clearance.
