Parto Khazen Tariff Codes Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added four tariff codes covering automatic power factor controllers, current transformers, capacitor contactors, and bushings, requested by Parto Khazen Company, to the percentage clearance list until the end of Aban 1404.

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added a set of tariff codes requested by Parto Khazen Company to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods under these classifications to be released from customs ahead of full currency allocation.

The request originated with Parto Khazen Company, which asked the Ministry’s Machinery and Equipment Industries Deputy to add several tariff lines used in its production to the percentage clearance list. The Deputy forwarded the request, and the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office confirmed the addition and notified Iran Customs. The tariff codes added are 39082309 for automatic power factor controllers (other), 39082312 and 39082313 for current transformers, 39082303 for capacitor contactors, and 39082402 for bushings. The notice also clarifies that a product described as an “Immobilizer Unit” was previously communicated under the current transformer tariff code, and that the capacitor contactor tariff code had already been announced to customs generally as part of the percentage clearance list.

Under the decision, the listed tariff codes will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of Aban month 1404 (corresponding to late November 2025).

Importers of automatic power factor controllers, current transformers, capacitor contactors, and bushings under the listed tariff codes should note that shipments may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and validity period.
