Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, through its Import and Export Regulations Office, has instructed the Tar company system operator to automatically extend the validity of certain trade cards under current emergency conditions.

The directive follows an earlier letter from the organization’s Deputy for Planning and Regulations regarding the automatic extension of business cards under emergency conditions, applied specifically to petty trading (pileh-vari), cross-border porter (kolbari), and border-resident trade cards.

Under the directive, all pileh-vari, kolbari, and border-resident trade cards whose validity has expired, or expires, during the period from February 28, 2026 (Esfand 9, 1404) through March 20, 2026 (Esfand 29, 1404), are to be automatically extended for a period of three months. The extension is applied without requiring action from the cardholder.

Cardholders whose pileh-vari, kolbari, or border-resident trade cards fall within the specified expiration window do not need to submit a renewal request; the extension is processed automatically in the relevant trade system.
