Tariff Codes Added to 90 Percent Clearance List for Printing

The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff codes 37024300 and 37013030 to the list of goods eligible for 90 percent clearance, following a request that identified a gap for raw materials used in the printing industry.

The request originated from a lithography company reporting that it could not obtain 90 percent clearance for tariff codes 37013030 (printing plates) and 37024300 (photographic film with a width exceeding 610 millimeters and a length exceeding 200 meters), which it needs for its printing production line. Given the importance of facilitating the supply of raw materials and supplies for printing-industry production units — which form a complementary link in the packaging and printing chain, particularly for the pharmaceutical, food, health and other industries — the Ministry’s General Industries Deputy directed that the tariff codes be added to the 90 percent clearance list.

The Export and Import Regulations Office subsequently instructed the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration that these tariff codes are eligible for 90 percent clearance, subject to compliance with applicable rules and regulations, until the end of Aban 1404.
