- Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade
- Reference
- No. 6588634
Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has notified relevant offices that obtaining a Product ID (Shenaseh Kala) is now required at the time of order registration for 58 tariff codes falling under the ministry’s Food, Drug and Health Industries Office.
The measure follows internal correspondence between the ministry’s Logistics and Business Services Deputy and the Import and Export Regulations Office, which coordinated the list of affected tariff codes with the Food, Drug and Health Industries Office. The notice also confirms that the existing requirement to obtain an IRC (Importer Registration Code) for these codes remains in place alongside the new Product ID requirement.
Importers and customs brokers dealing in goods under the affected tariff codes should confirm that a valid Product ID has been obtained before attempting to register an order, as the requirement is expected to be enforced in the Comprehensive Trade System.
