The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade’s Export and Import Regulations Office has notified the Center for Data, Information and Cyberspace Security Technology that product ID (shenaseh kala) rules must now be applied at order registration for four tariff codes handled by the Automotive, Motive Power and Transportation Industries Office: 87087040, 84849090, 87079090, and 94019190.

The instruction implements the product identification criteria for these tariff lines in the relevant system so that order registration for the corresponding goods requires a valid product ID. Under the bylaws implementing Articles 24 and 30 of the Law on Continuous Improvement of the Business Environment, changes to regulations affecting import, export, and trade take effect one month after publication in the laws and regulations database related to the business environment (qavanin.ir). Implementation of this change in the system was requested to follow the applicable timeline set by those bylaws.

Businesses importing goods under these four tariff codes should ensure a valid product ID is registered before submitting order registration requests in the Comprehensive Trade System.
