Production Line Parts Tariff Codes Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added a list of tariff codes covering production line components and parts to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods under these classifications to be released from customs ahead of full foreign currency allocation.

The decision was issued by the Ministry’s Deputy for Machinery and Equipment Industries following a request related to the industrial appliance manufacturing sector. The tariff codes cover components used in production lines, including plate heat exchangers, radiator parts, safety valves, pumps, stators and rotors, solenoid valves, and turbine flowmeters.

The Import and Export Regulations Office of the Trade Development Organization of Iran subsequently confirmed the addition and forwarded it to Iran Customs for implementation, in coordination with the Ministry’s General Industries Deputy. Under the decision, goods classified under the tariff codes below will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the validity period set by the competent authority expires.

The affected tariff codes are:

• 84195090 — Plate heat exchanger
• 84813000 — Radiator (shofaj) parts
• 84814000 — Safety valve
• 84137090 — Pump
• 84139100 — Stator and rotor
• 84818090 — Solenoid valve
• 84819090 — Turbine flowmeter

Importers and manufacturers sourcing these production line components should note that shipments under the listed tariff codes may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and validity period.
