Tariff Code 2106.9090 Added to Percentage Clearance List

The General Industries Deputy of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has approved percentage clearance requests submitted by several food industry companies, including Shahd Food Industries, Pak Food Industries, Ab Taam Powder, Persian Dina Tous, and Sepas Mehr, and the Export and Import Regulations Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran has notified Iran Customs accordingly. Tariff code 2106.9090, listed with the description “other” under the flavoring raw materials category, has been added to the percentage clearance list.

The addition responds to the need to secure raw and intermediate materials for the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector under current country conditions. The tariff code is now eligible for percentage clearance, subject to the rules and regulations that govern percentage clearance procedures, until the validity period of the relevant competent authority’s approval expires.
