Tariff Code 39219091 Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff code 39219091, covering multilayer plastic sheets and rolls used to manufacture tube-shaped containers, to the percentage clearance list until the end of Aban 1404.

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff code 39219091, described as multilayer plastic sheet and roll material used to manufacture tube-shaped (tube) containers, to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods under this classification to be released from customs ahead of full currency allocation.

The decision followed a request from Ghazvin province’s Industry, Mine and Trade Department relayed on behalf of Moheb Ghazvin Packaging and Plastic Industries Company, which holds an operating license for producing various types of plastic tube packaging. The company noted that, based on the listing of tariff code 39219091 among goods authorized for percentage clearance, and because a significant share of consumers of this product type have emphasized the need for imports to allow production to continue, it requested that percentage clearance be enabled for this tariff line.

The Ministry’s Deputy for General Industries instructed the Chemical and Polymer Industries Office to proceed, and the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office subsequently confirmed the addition and forwarded it to Iran Customs for implementation. Under the decision, goods classified under tariff code 39219091 will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of Aban month 1404 (corresponding to late November 2025).

Importers of multilayer sheet and roll material for tube packaging production should note that shipments under this tariff code may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and the stated validity period.
