Tariff Code 84571000 Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff code 84571000, described as a machining center, to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods under this classification to be released from customs ahead of full currency allocation.

The addition traces back to a request from Fara Sanat Arman Equipment Company regarding the placement of a machining center tariff code on the percentage clearance list. The Ministry’s Machinery and Equipment Industries Deputy forwarded the matter, and the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office confirmed the addition of tariff code 84571000 and notified Iran Customs for implementation.

Under the decision, goods classified under tariff code 84571000 will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of Aban month 1404 (corresponding to late November 2025).

Importers of machining center equipment under this tariff code should note that shipments may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and validity period.
