Tariff Codes 39073020 and 39079929 Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff codes 39073020 and 39079929 to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods under these classifications to be released from customs ahead of full currency allocation.

The decision was issued as a circular by the Ministry, following the established process for adding tariff lines to the percentage clearance mechanism used to support continuity of supply for producers and importers relying on these inputs. The Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office communicated the addition to Iran Customs for implementation.

Under the decision, goods classified under tariff codes 39073020 and 39079929 will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of Aban month 1404 (corresponding to late November 2025).

Importers of goods under these tariff codes should note that shipments may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and the stated validity period.
