Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff codes 59111020, 48719000, and 59100090 to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods classified under these codes to be released from customs ahead of full foreign currency allocation.

The addition follows requests from domestic manufacturing companies seeking to secure raw materials and intermediate inputs used on their production lines. The Ministry’s General Industries Deputy forwarded a request based on a submission from a company identified as Karouz Manufacturing regarding a tariff code covering woven automotive airbag fabric, and a related request from Maham Gostar Tav Company concerning a tariff code covering conveyor belting with technical specifications. The Trade Development Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office subsequently confirmed the additions and notified Iran Customs for implementation.

Under the decision, goods classified under tariff codes 59111020, 48719000, and 59100090 will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of the Iranian month of Aban 1404.

Importers and manufacturers whose supply chains rely on these tariff codes should confirm that their shipments fall under the listed classifications and coordinate with customs and banking channels to make use of the percentage clearance mechanism within the stated validity period.
