Tariff Codes 85011011 and 85011019 Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff codes 85011011 and 85011019 to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods classified under these codes to be released from customs ahead of full foreign currency allocation.

The addition was issued with reference to Cabinet resolution No. 6609/T63777H dated April 12, 2025, which set the framework and validity period for the percentage clearance arrangement covering the affected tariff codes. Under the decision, the two codes are added to the percentage clearance list through the end of Aban 1404 (late November 2025), the validity period fixed by the approving authority.

The Import and Export Regulations Office of the Trade Development Organization of Iran forwarded the addition to Iran Customs for implementation, with the requirement that goods classified under tariff codes 85011011 and 85011019 remain subject to percentage clearance only in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, and only until the stated validity period expires.

Importers of goods under tariff codes 85011011 and 85011019 should note that shipments may be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism through the end of Aban 1404, subject to the applicable conditions, after which the facility will require renewal or will lapse absent a further decision.
