Tariff Codes 29163130 and Others Added to Percentage Clearance List

Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added tariff codes 29163130, 34023990, 34024290, and 38112190 to the percentage clearance list, following requests from several companies, effective until the end of Aban 1404.

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has added four tariff codes to the percentage clearance list, allowing goods under these classifications to be released from customs ahead of full currency allocation.

The addition follows a chain of requests forwarded by the Ministry’s Deputy for General Industries and processed by the Trade Promotion Organization’s Export and Import Regulations Office. The underlying requests came from several companies and provincial trade departments, including a percentage clearance request tied to tariff code 39136190 relayed by Iran Customs’ Import Office, a submission from Falat Sang Asia Company via Alborz province’s Industry, Mine and Trade Department, a stationery industry-related request for tariff code 34024290 tied to Boutan Company, a request for tariff code 34024290 from Pars Sadra Fanavar Company, and further requests from Shibbardar Company, Vista Chemi Company, and Fara Ravansaz Gostar Asia Company. Based on this review, the Deputy for General Industries instructed that tariff codes 29163130, 34023990, 34024290, and 38112190 be added to the percentage clearance list, and the result was communicated to Iran Customs.

Under the decision, the four tariff codes will be subject to percentage clearance, in compliance with other relevant rules and regulations, until the end of Aban month 1404 (corresponding to late November 2025). The notice also states that tariff codes 34024290 and 39136190 had previously been announced to customs for percentage clearance.

Importers of goods under tariff codes 29163130, 34023990, 34024290, and 38112190 should note that shipments may now be processed through the percentage clearance mechanism, subject to the applicable conditions and the stated validity period.
