Iran’s Trade Development Organization has issued the tenth list of tariff codes exempted from the ongoing ban on agricultural product exports.

The exemptions follow a series of prior communications between the Trade Development Organization and the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad regarding tariff codes to be excluded from the export ban. The underlying ban itself covers items under tariff headings in Chapters 1 through 24, as set out in an implementing regulation issued in connection with the Law on Export and Import Regulations, with exceptions to be identified by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade’s Trade Development Deputy in coordination with the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad.

Each exemption list is compiled after a market-condition assessment carried out jointly with the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, evaluating domestic supply and demand for specific goods before excluding their tariff codes from the ban. The tenth list continues this same review process, adding further tariff codes to those already exempted through the ninth list and prior rounds.

The Trade Development Organization instructed that the list be communicated to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration for implementation. Exporters dealing in agricultural products should check whether their specific tariff codes appear on this tenth exemption list before relying on it to proceed with export declarations, as goods not included on any exemption list remain subject to the general export ban.
