Twelfth List of Products Exempt from the Export Ban

The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, through the Import and Export Regulations Office of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, has issued the twelfth list of products exempted from the export prohibition applicable to goods classified under Chapters 1 through 24 of the tariff book.

The exemption follows coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad and is based on the removal of the export prohibition for the tariff codes covering the products listed below, in line with earlier correspondence on the same list of exceptions.

The following items are now exempt from the export ban:

• Tariff code 06022010 — tissue-culture cultivated seedlings of date palm
• Tariff code 07032000 — fresh garlic
• Tariff code 07039000 — leeks and other allium-type vegetables

The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration has been instructed to notify the relevant customs offices accordingly so that exports of these items can proceed without being subject to the general prohibition applicable to their tariff chapters.

Exporters of these agricultural products should confirm the exemption applies to their specific tariff classification and continue to observe standard export documentation and customs procedures.
