Iran’s Bureau of Import and Export Regulations has forwarded to Iran Customs the National Standards Organization’s updated list of export goods subject to mandatory standard compliance, covering the month of Ordibehesht 1405 (roughly April 21 to May 21, 2026).
The National Standards Organization of Iran notified the Trade Promotion Organization that its updated list of export goods subject to mandatory standard requirements for the month has been posted on the organization’s portal, at the address qa.inso.gov.ir, under the letterhead of the Bureau for Quality Assessment of Exported and Imported Goods and Export Processes, where the list of export goods subject to standard regulations is maintained. The Bureau of Import and Export Regulations subsequently instructed that the update be recorded and communicated to executive customs offices.
The measure is a routine, periodic update to the ongoing list of export goods that must comply with Iran’s mandatory national standards before they can be exported, rather than the introduction of a new compliance regime. Because the authoritative list is maintained and updated on the National Standards Organization’s own portal rather than distributed as a static document, exporters should consult the qa.inso.gov.ir portal directly to confirm whether a specific product and its tariff code are currently subject to mandatory standard compliance before proceeding with an export shipment.
