Updated Mandatory Import Standards List for Mehr 1404

The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has forwarded to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration an updated list of goods subject to mandatory standard compliance requirements for imports, as issued by the National Standards Organization of Iran for the month of Mehr 1404 (corresponding to late September through late October 2025).

The National Standards Organization’s Deputy for Quality Assessment notified the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and other relevant bodies, including the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade’s Deputy for Trade and Services, Iran Customs, and chambers of commerce, that an updated list of goods subject to mandatory import standards has been issued. The notice confirmed that the list is published and accessible on the National Standards Organization’s portal at www.inso.gov.ir, within the organization’s databases covering goods subject to standards oversight for both imports and exports.

The Export and Import Regulations Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran subsequently forwarded the National Standards Organization’s notice, together with the accompanying list of goods subject to mandatory standard requirements for imports, to Iran Customs for information and appropriate action. The notice reminded recipients that the list represents the latest revision of imported goods subject to mandatory standards for 1404 and is viewable and usable directly on the National Standards Organization’s system at the address above.

Importers and customs offices should consult the National Standards Organization’s online database for the current, itemized list of tariff codes and goods requiring mandatory standard compliance certification prior to clearance, as the list is subject to periodic revision.
