- No. 7384513
Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization has notified the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration that import order registrations carrying a confirmed bank foreign exchange source and a SATA tracking code remain valid for customs declaration and clearance purposes, even if their stated validity date has already passed.
The notice was issued in light of emergency conditions and the need to accelerate the declaration and customs clearance process for goods. It clarifies that, for import orders where the foreign exchange source has been confirmed by a bank and which carry a tracking code, the information recorded in the registration is considered valid by the Trade Promotion Organization for the purposes of declaration and clearance, without requiring the order to be renewed or re-registered.
This treatment applies through the end of the Iranian month of Farvardin 1405 (April 20, 2026). Businesses relying on such registrations for customs clearance during this period do not need to take separate action to extend or re-register these specific orders.
Importers and customs brokers should continue to monitor their registrations and confirm that the underlying foreign exchange source and tracking code meet the stated conditions, since the exemption from renewal applies specifically to orders meeting these criteria.
