Plastic bottles in Iranian market

Plastic bottles, including containers used in the packaging industry and vacuum, are liquid materials. Bottles are pieces that are produced in a two-stage process. These containers are also considered to be wind products in the plastics and polymer industry.

In fact, during the injection process, the preforms were first produced by the preform of these products, and then by the blowing machine, these preforms come in the form of a bottle. The following figure shows different examples of preforms.
PET bottles and jar cans are the final product of preforms. These products today have revolutionized the world of packaging industry. In Iranian market, our daily use of bottles, mineral waters, various beverages and juices is evident and visible. The lack of these components leads to lack of hygiene as well as food corrosion.
It can be said that bottles have become an integral part of human life. These products also play a major role in industrial, health and pharmaceutical applications for marketing in Iran. For packaging of pesticides used in the agricultural sector, the packaging of medicines, acetone, laboratory alcohol and many other applications have important applications. In the food industry, food packaging has been instrumental in packaging honey, jam, herbs (grapes, dates).
In fact, if we want to refer to the product packaging, we will not find a more suitable option, either economically or in terms of quality approved health care. Dimensioning, depending on the type of capacity used, as well as the color scheme on special occasions, for light corruptible products, is variable in terms of the customer that the manufacturers of this product have planned for it out of marketing in Iran.
Why are plastic bottles disposable?
Practically, there is the possibility of making multi-use plastic bottles that can be used again as glass bottles, but no factory has done anywhere in the world.
"Plastic bottles today are widely used in everyday life of humans, but researchers believe that the use of these bottles is not beneficial to health and cannot be reused".
Plastic bottles are not designed for reuse on the world market and are not robust enough against wear and tear in collecting, cleaning, loading and reuse on a commercial scale. Recycling plastic and plastic bottles, on the other hand, requires basic preparations, such as sterilization of bottles, which are usually carried out by washing with very hot water and chemical solutions, which in the end should eliminate all bacteria in these bottles.
Typically, it would not be possible to expect a multiple use of plastic bottles, as these bottles, unlike glass bottles, have less firmness and are highly vulnerable to heat and are more reactive to chemicals. As a result, factories cannot use these bottles like glass bottles that revert to production cycles. For example, in industries such as beverages, milk and dairy and so on glass bottles are washed and refilled after collection, but it is not possible to do this for plastic bottles.
Nevertheless, it should be kept in mind that it is practically possible to make multi-use plastic bottles that can be used again as glass bottles, but no factory has done anywhere in the world.
The structure of plastic bottles
Most of the plastics we use in our everyday life are thermoplastic or thermosetting.
Thermoplastics are acrylic, nylon and polyethylene. This group of plastics is warmed, deformed and soft so that they can be shaped in any way that makes the group easily recyclable from plastics.
Thermosetting plastics in Iranian market, such as Bakelite or polyurethane, are completely different from the previous one, these plastics are not modified after being made to the desired shape by the manufacturers, and cannot be melted or recycled for marketing in Iran.
Disadvantages of consuming food and drink in plastic containers
According to studies by researchers, eating a liter of packaged water can bring tens of thousands of micro-plastics into the human body. These particles are on average 100 microns and are known as micro plastics as micro-plastics. This has been the case, however, as earlier studies by scientists at the Babaa Atomic Research Center in India have shown that using drinking water packaged in plastic bottles is harmful to human health because the chemicals present in these waters are higher than standard standards. Scientists recommend that to stop these plastic bottles which have been used for water.
These studies have proved the destructive effect of chemical changes resulting from the consumption of water in plastic bottles in humans. In the above research, researchers investigated and tested water-based and packaged water bottles in plastic bottles of eighteen different manufacturers, and five samples of the water inside these bottles were also analyzed and tested. These tests showed a high level of harmful chemicals for human health inside these bottles and their drinking water. For example, according to the results of experiments, in a bottle of one liter of mineral water packaged in plastic containers, there are twenty percent bromates, which is harmful to the human body. These types of bottles are very popular in Iranian market.
This chemical is known as one of the most important causes of diseases such as cancer, digestive tract infections and hair loss. Unfortunately, while over the past decade, the use of packaged drinking water bottles in plastic bottles has grown enormously in Iranian market, research has shown that a high percentage of bromate chemical is present in all mineral water products produced and manufactured by different companies for marketing in Iran. It has no connection with the water source, but it is toxic to the water through the water contact with the plastic body of the bottle, and especially in the vicinity of sunlight.
It should be noted that in the official reports of the World Health Organization, the authorized level of bromate in drinking water is only 10%, and it is explicitly emphasized that the maximum amount predicted and approved by this substance should be four milligrams per liter of water Unfortunately, the amount of the aforementioned material is now much higher than this.
